We have a very special FREE event planned for September 10, with some of the finest Techno artists from around the world for our next Label Showcase Event in NYC's infamous East village. All the way from New Zealand we have Anitix/Fiord providing a live performance. These guys have toured the world there and back and produce some of the biggest songs around the globe. Additionally, we have Grammy nominated, Barry Jamieson, who has worked closely with the likes of Sasha on projects such as the Involver albums and much more. Lastly, we have AlterImage and Subfractal, who both are making waves in the production world as producers and as DJs have played along side some of the biggest names in world. This is not a night that comes around often and is not one to miss.
To top it off we will be celebrating the massive release on AlterImage Recordings by techno superstar Mowree, entitled "Out Of My Door". This is a two track EP with remixes by AlterImage and Fiord. We are more than excited about this night and the opportunity to have Fiord aka Antix, in NYC. We feel National Underground offers the perfect dark intimate setting for a night of this style. Fiord are brothers, studio partners and seasoned producers whose achievements to date encompass 4 albums, a fruitful international touring career and an array of heavyweight productions spread across their three monikers Antix, Fiord and Triangle. Hailing from New Zealand with a musical background rich with influences from Ritchie Hawtin to Rhythm and Sound, Barton and Hayden have such a plethora of inspiration.
Fahad Ahmad and Syed Mishaal Raza AKA Subfractal, have ripped dancefloors apart with their showcases of booming underground techno and dark heavy minimal. With support from industry heavyweights like Umek, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Spektre, Fergie, Hernan Cattaneo, Phunk Investigation, Noir and so many more, it’s no surprise that Subfractal’s releases routinely appear in the upper echelons of countless techno and minimal charts. Expectations are flying high for this talented duo in 2011, and with a plethora of marquee releases and live shows on the way, they’re most definitely up for the challenge.
